Inspection Trip:
It is widely known that the best way to experience the hospitality
and spirit of North Cyprus is to visit the island itself. Inspection
tours are fast becoming a more productive and easier way to
find your perfect overseas investment. When choosing a Real
Estate Agent ask if they offer this service, if they do then
they will then be able to personally guide you through all aspects
of the buying procedure, from initial contact through to completion
they will be on hand to answer all your queries. Inspection
trips are normally hosted or partially hosted by either the
Real Estate Agent or the developer and you will find 3-5 days
is the normal extent of the trip. Obviously the more information
you initially supply to your agent the easier your trip will
be by not wasting your time seeing property that either does
not meet your requirements or is not within your budget.
As
a customer, you have to think carefully about the property
you want to purchase before you buy it. You should check the
property comprehensively meets all your needs. We have put
together a quick check list of things to take into consideration:
• Location meets with your requirements
• size of building and room layout
• size of plot in case you should wish to extend the
property at a later date
• wall construction; single or double brick
• windows; single or double glazed
• shutters for security
• quality and style of floor coverings
• boundaries and driveways clearly defined
• location and quantity of water tanks
• heating and air conditioning
• kitchen layout
• fitted storage in bedrooms
• swimming pool if required
• payment stages meet with your budget
• property building permit has been issued
• construction guarantee
• specifications in the contract of the property
• Infrastructure will be installed before handover ie.
electricity, water and roads
• price
• terms of payment
• repairs or snagging needed to be carried out
• appliances and fixtures included in the price
• landscaping to be included
• Completion date |
